Arabian Horses Take Center Stage: Mikayla of MAC Equestrian

At a gorgeous little horse stable in Eustis, FL, a sunrise photography session was the highlight of my day. This session, which I am so late in posting, has remained vivid in my mind, and I am thrilled to finally share the experience and a couple of the stunning wall art pieces that emerged from our creative collaboration.

The peaceful morning with MAC Equestrian began just as the fog gracefully lifted, revealing a radiant sun filtering through the old Florida oak trees. It was more than a photography session; it was a celebration of the hard work and bond created between a girl and her horses.

The spotlight was on Mikayla, whose connection with her four Arabian horses was evident from the moment I arrived. Each outfit Mikayla chose worked beautifully with her horses' coats, adding a layer of elegance to the images we created together. We started Mikayla's session by using as much of the pretty outside space as we could, including a gorgeous road next to their property that framed their portraits in such a pretty and soft way.

As the session progressed and the sun began to beat down, we transitioned into the barn, transforming it into an equine portrait studio. Here, each horse and their adorable spotted donkey took center stage, creating a collection of portraits that showcased their individual beauty and sweet personalities. We even added garlands to the horses' necks for Mikayla's family to use on their holiday cards!

The most exciting part of our time together for me was the creation of several exquisite wall art pieces. Among them, one portrait remains etched in my heart – an adorable moment between Mikayla's colt and her sweet little dog, captured against the studio backdrop. This particular image was turned into a painted portrait on a gorgeous framed Guild canvas, perfectly fitting with the sentimental wall art that already adorned the walls of their home.

Mikayla, her horses, and her family have been an absolute joy to work with over this past year, and I look forward to creating more memories with them as Mikayla continues her equestrian career!
