Foal season brings nothing but joy to the Fast Horse Photography world and it means the world to me to get to spend time with these sweet new babies after they are welcomed to the world. Sometimes they are bouncing around kicking and bucking full of attitude and other times they are super snoozy woozy. Ollie was a little of both! My favorite moments were sitting a small distance away… watching him sleep and flip his little tail back and forth on the ground. Once he was awake he wanted to play with mom… who was as cool as a cucumber letting baby Ollie frolic around her as she grazed. New foal photography sessions are such a fun way to remember these precious early days of a new colt or filly’s life.

How do you do it? How do you generate images to reflect your brand and make you stand out in the horse industry? How do you bring your business to life?
You’ve even purchased stunning professional equine stock images. Although they are amazing, they don’t tell your story. Your brand story.

When was the last time you invested in professional equine photography?
Beautiful horse images to grace the walls of your home or barn? Marking a milestone in your life or your family’s life with your beloved horses? Wedding photos, Senior photos, winning a championship title, or just celebrating a steadfast and faithful companion — your heart horse.
Have you done this lately? Or has it been years? Maybe you’ve never experienced a photoshoot with your horses and you are eager to make the investment. Because truly, that’s what a full-service experience with an equine portrait specialist is. It’s an investment. A complete photo session then hanging your equine wall art in your home. You are investing in your memories. Capturing what’s happening NOW in your life. Creating heritage pieces to remind you of your sacred horse and human relationship.
I remember wrapping my hands in the mane of the horse and holding on for dear life as the horses galloped as a herd. Me blind in the dark as we launched into the woods. The lane was narrow and I remember feeling an occasional brush of another horse's body against my leg as we bounded in and out of the potholes.

Addie and Cruze spend their days at Peak Performance Horses, so it was the perfect location for their photography session. On the day of the session, the weather was bleak looking. Very overcast, windy, with a chance of rain. Well rain it sure did! The rain didn’t stop Addie and Cruze from having fun and finishing their session together. Scroll through to spot the last image of the day, just as the rain started pouring down!

I love spending time at the St Johns County Horse Council events and specifically the fun shows! If egg and spoon is a class on the show bill, then I want to be there! The goofier the holiday costume the better. Here are just a few images from the December 5th event. Check out all the cute Santa hats and reindeer antlers rounding barrels! A full equestrian family portrait was one of our goals for this session and we nailed it by including Rhylie’s mom, Joni and her brother, Marek and of course horse, Brownie and her two dogs, Rocko and Rollo. Images from this session were used to create a mantle piece family portrait in a beautiful handmade frame and additional print products including the sweetest holiday card!

But — THIS cowgirl and her horse exhibit the kind of wild freedom that doesn’t get to belong to many folks… and even for those who it does belong to… it doesn’t seem to last for long.

We created a small three piece gallery wall grouping and an incredible framed portrait with the most stunning Farmhouse Frame! This frame is gorgeous and features dark brown, caramel and cream accents with a ton of texture! Made from weathered Oak and is sturdy and unique!
